Uses batteries but more water efficient than the manual squirt bottles. I don't think the humming noise is that loud when in operation but I've only used it at home so I'm not as self conscious about it as I would be outside of the comforts of home

Works Really Well! Doesn't hold a ton of water, so it takes some getting used to. However, once you do learn to adjust with lesser amount of water, it works really well! The green color was a terrible mistake on my part. I got a second one in white and it works just fine. Have been using it for several months now and no quality issues to report. There is, though, an issue with the incredibly awkward shape and size. I have to hide these in my pockets because they honestly just look inappropriate. The 2 pressure settings are perfectly fine and work well depending on the situation. Highly recommend these, whether you want to keep it at work or for travel.
